1. Information We Collect

We collect limited personal and business information required to provide our scheduling services:

  • Account details (name, email, workspace information)
  • Calendar and availability data (via Google, Microsoft, or other integrations)
  • Payment and subscription details (for paid plans)
  • Usage data (pages visited, booking interactions, device/browser metadata)

We do not sell or trade user data.

2. How We Use Data

We use your information to:

  • Provide scheduling, booking, and team coordination services
  • Sync calendar availability and prevent double-bookings
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve platform performance and security
  • Communicate updates, changes, or support information

All data processing aligns with the purpose of providing and improving SchedLynk's service.

3. Use of Google User Data

SchedLynk integrates with Google Calendar to help users schedule and manage meetings seamlessly. When you connect your Google account, we request access via OAuth and only to the scopes necessary for scheduling.

Data We Access

  • Calendar events & availability metadata: event times, durations, attendee emails, and free/busy information to prevent double-bookings.
  • Create/modify/delete events: to add, reschedule, or cancel meetings when actions occur in SchedLynk.
  • Basic profile (name & email): to identify your account and send meeting notifications.

We do not access your email content or unrelated Google data.

How We Use This Data

  • Display your availability to guests booking meetings with you
  • Automatically create and update calendar events for confirmed bookings
  • Send confirmations, reminders, and updates about upcoming meetings
  • Sync booking status across devices and calendar platforms

Storage & Protection

We store only minimal event metadata (e.g., event IDs, timestamps, attendees) needed to manage your appointments. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never store Google account passwords or OAuth secrets in plaintext.

How to Revoke Access

You can revoke SchedLynk’s access at any time by disconnecting your Google Calendar from within the SchedLynk app. Once disconnected, SchedLynk will immediately stop syncing or modifying any calendar data. You can also remove SchedLynk from your Google account's permissions at Google Account Permissions.

4. Integrations and Third Parties

SchedLynk connects with third-party platforms (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, Stripe). When you authorize an integration, we access only the scopes required to perform scheduling, and only while your authorization remains active.

We never share or store calendar event content beyond what's required to show availability and manage bookings.

5. Security

  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
  • Access to systems is limited to authorized personnel with least-privilege access.
  • We use reputable cloud service providers with industry-standard certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • You can request data export or deletion anytime by emailing privacy@schedlynk.com.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data for the duration of your account to provide the service.

If you close your account, we delete personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain certain records (e.g., invoices).

7. International Transfers

SchedLynk operates globally.

When transferring data outside your region, we use standard contractual clauses and other recognized safeguards, as applicable.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data
  • Withdraw consent to integrations
  • Request a machine-readable data export
